Major changes will be coming to Third Ward in Center City Charlotte, specifically to the area between 2nd and 4th Streets... and between Tryon and Graham Streets. 230 South Tryon has just finished construction and is moving in residents sitting on the corner of 3rd and Tryon Streets. Across 3rd St and sitting on Tryon St is another proposed residential development with a connection to the new 3rd Ward Park.. fronting Tryon from one side and the new park from the other. As seen above, there are three more residential buildings planned to border the park along 2nd St and at the corner of 3rd and Church. These will include a 29-33 story residential tower, another condo tower, as well as a 39 story condo hotel called TWELVE. (TWELVE was previously planned to be in 1st Ward as part of the Levine development) The green space will include a 5,2 acre park as well as plans for a minor league baseball stadium. Contact me to keep in the loop with these upcoming residential developments!
